Yes! We Want “Ethical iPhone 5”!
After NYT’s report on worse working conditions of labor in Chinese factories, people have come forward to improve the same. SomeOfUs.org and Change.org have filed online petitions that demand Apple to seize unfair and dangerous labor practices in Chinese factories.
The appeal made by SomeOfUs asks Apple to clean up its tasks overseas and make an iPhone “ethically” this time. It says “The quality of working conditions matters as much as the quality of your products. Make the iPhone 5 and your other products ethically”. The one made by Change.org (started by Mark Shields) says “Protect Workers making iPhones in Chinese Factories”.
