Here’s another conclusion on iPad 3. A case maker in china has started selling the cases for a device it is calling iPad 2S. The Chinee case manufacturer claims to have received information from someone inside Apple and is already making cases for the next generation iPad; be it iPad 3 or iPad 2S. It is alleged from these case designs that future model would be thicker than iPad 2. Now why 2S? Well, for this one you just need to revise your concepts of iPhone 4S.

The news was sparked by the Chinese case maker Chinee which is selling the cases for next generation iPad and is calling them iPad 2S cases. And the company strengthens the fact that it has information from an Apple supply chain vendor making the basis of news from 9to5mac . These case manufacturers have a great history of being on the money when it comes to cracking Apple’s hardware plans in the making. We recently covered up the probability of iPad 3 releasing 1 mm thicker  in size and a slightly bigger lens (the new case has a larger hole) which also suggests that iPad 2S might be on its way.

It’s a scary thought, not something one would think of. But if we go with what the cases indicate; iPad 3 will be virtually identical to iPad 2 on the outside with major changes only on the inside aka software improvements like advanced processor A6 and upgraded iOS 6. It is hilarious to imagine the mess that it would turn into if iPad 2S comes rather than iPad 3. But this doesn’t stop the hot guns from taking their potshots and us from being a little concerned!
