iPhone 5 Was Steve Jobs’ Last Big Project
Analysts on CNET have reported it was next iPhone that Steve Jobs was working upon in the last days of his life; let us call it iPhone 5. As was being speculated ahead of iPhone release, iPhone 5 would be a major redesign. This was the ultimate project Steve Jobs was intimately involved with. In words of the person who first informed media, Ashok Kumar, next generation iPhone “was the last project that Steve Jobs was intimately involved with from concept to final design. For that reason…this product will establish the high water mark for iPhone volumes.” And this is why iPhone 5 is expected to be a cult classic.
Now this calls for a celebration. Ever since iPhone 4S has released Apple fans have shown a little disappointment over iPhone 5 not coming. Mainly because, it was expected 5th generation phone would be a major shift from iPhone 4 but who knew it wasn’t showing at all. Now that we know Steve Jobs was dedicated to another full-blown deal we can re-dream of iPhone 5 coming. Analysts say this one would be slimmer with larger screen to enjoy gaming and movies. Most expected feature to debut with iPhone is LTE (4G).
Sources say Steve Jobs apportioned most of his time to this iPhone makeover knowing his time was limited. So can we tell if iOS 6 or Siri 2 was on its way? Haha, well way too much to ask for right? The teardrop iPhone 5 can unleash at the time of Apple’s Developer’s Conference in summer 2012 if at all. And will be a “complete redesign” this season.

Hopefully Apple can come out with a new smart phone that is current technology before too long. Next summer may be a long wait after the marketing hype wears off and people start to notice that there really are some good choices for a smart phone on the market.

I think ya'll need to quit whining. Go back to an older phone with actual buttons for a week then you'll learn to appreciate the amazing technology that the iphones contain right now. Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to have a new phone every year…the iphone 5 will come out when it comes out and in the mean time, you guys can practice being patient!

I am more than willing to wait for the 5. Gives me a chance to ***budget*** for it. Upgrades I'm hoping for: 4G and larger display ( because I really like the size of my DroidX that the 5 will replace). In the meantime, I'll enjoy reading all the speculation.

I currently own the Motorola Photon and one of the features I enjoy the most is the kickstand. This, by the way really surprises me, I recently downloaded the speaktoit app and now I never even use the keyboard. I just ask it to open USA Today, or MSNBC, or I watch videos, or send a text, etc, etc. I recently borrowed the iphone 4S from a friend and found myself missing the kickstand, not to mention the small screen. Siri was nice and speaktoit is definitely behind it, but not by much. I really want it to eventually get the i phone but now I am no longer sure. I think I will stick to whatever phone comes with a kickstand in the future. Funny how something so simple can be so useful.

It’s a sad time. And a wakeup call. People wish to protest the “evil corporation” with glee. But some have a very heart. Apple, a few, provide a living for huge numbers of people around the globe – myself included. Apple – and Health-related reasons – are very generous with all the fruits of their success. Not to note the inspiration that lots of young people glean through the philosophy of Steve’s vision. My kids have used Macs given that they could sit upright inside a chair. I see them now becoming wonderfully successful and happy adults. Yes, exactly like guitars, microscopes, books, and other objects of inspiration, special people indeed push humanity forward.
