Gene Munster, the analyst with Piper Jaffray, is expecting a major modification on the iPhone front in 2012. According to him, iPhone 5, that is rumored to come in 2012, can be a major redesign because of two reasons. One, Apple didn’t work on anything significant the year gone by as it preferred to resist changes that could impart a generation shift to the iPhone. This is why he believes 2012 can witness a mind blowing Smartphone. Two, his Bull-n-Base case theory visualizes Apple to be grossing around 142-162 million iPhone units in order to make more than 20% profits in 2012. It is also possible that iPad lineup gets extended to both low price and high price points. And if this model is applied to iPad as well the company is set to make it to the top in the coming year.

Gaming with iPhone 5 is going to be loads of fun. Bendable display is one of the most wanted features in iPhone 5. Following Apple’s license acquisition for the liquidmetal last year, speculations are rife that iPhone 5 can appear with a twisted screen. iPhone 4S featured the same old 3.5 inch screen in order to spare its new generation release the grace of a wider 4-4.3″ screen. With the groovy screen, changing of tracks would no longer be a nightmare. In either case, iPhone 5 can be truly called a gaming phone with amazing graphics, swift touch and big screen. Bending while racing would be a plus!
