iPad 3 in Production Phase, Set for March Release!
According to a report from Bloomberg, iPad 3 is to come loaded with a quad-core processor, sharper high resolution display, LTE support, and most striking of all is that the next generation iPad is seeking launch in March. Bloomberg says that “according to people familiar with the product”, the Asian manufacturing partners (like Foxconn Technology Group) of Apple have started producing iPad 3 units this month, and that it will turn to a full-fledged mode by next month.
One of the person in group of Apple employees (the group of three Bloomberg had a chat with), said that the quad-core processor will enable a user to jump between applications very quickly. The tablet will sport a bigger battery and meet the power requirements of an LTE enabled gadget. According to them, this is the reason why LTE is being drawn to an iPad rather than an iPhone first. The iPad 3 screen will be a “high definition display”, and will have greater resolution than iPad 2 and some of the HDTVs. In fact, high resolution of the display screen would make images appear like printed ones. It will also feature additional graphics processing, which would begin playing a video file at the very moment it is hit. It is strange that instead of the term “Retina Display”, sources and the website have mentioned “High Definition display” everywhere. According to me, what’s said is as important as what isn’t!

Mentioning production of iPad 3 units, one of them said that the Chinese factories are working 24 hours a day and that they will take a pause during Lunar New Year holiday. However, the production will pace up in February again.
Well, things are falling in place slowly. Apple launching an iPad adorned with power hungry features like high-def display and LTE support along with a bigger battery to supply power seems reasonable enough. Besides, it looks justified to first test these specs on a bigger iPad and then, to bring them down to the much delicate sibling (the next generation iPhone).
