iPad 3 Will Be A Major Redesign Hints New Component

Not really sure how much time will Apple’s new tablet take but the speculations are not dying soon. Here comes another leak indicating towards a major redesign that iPad 3 is rumored to be. This component has been discovered at TVC-Mail.com and the website claims it as third generation iPad’s component. And analysts have contemplated that the upcoming iPad 3 is going to feature a significantly modified internal design. The part in question is a flex-cable that is usually responsible for connecting to the flat panel display in high-density electronic gadgets.

A parts-reseller TVC-Mail.com is a Shenzen based online global mall that specializes in iPhone, iPad parts and accessories, other cell phone parts, cases and accessories. The company is currently selling the rumored iPad 3 part  which is a, Microphone Mic Flex Cable Ribbon Replacement for iPad 3 Original for $150. The dealer has mentioned a few qualities of the cable and says it is compatible with iPad 3 (3rd generation). As reported by Cydia Blog the part shows a different geometry in its internal circuitry as compared to that of iPad 2’s.

 

The tail end of the part makes a ‘U-turn,’ whereas the iPad 2′s Microphone Mic Flex Cable makes almost 90-degree turn both ways. Except for few details, the leaked part so far doesn’t offer a tantalizing tease.”

Says the report. But it also mentions there isn’t any tantalizing detail that can be obtained. The first time there was news of component leak was on October 22nd when a dock connector , claimed to be that of iPad 3, came to surface. Interestingly, it was the same website at that time too, TVC-Mail.com. What’s more on the iPad 3 front recently is that Apple is working on a high resolution Retina Display that can pack more pixels on the same area. Sharp is known to be providing with iPad 3’s display that is rumored to come within 3-4 months.
